Greetings from Okinawa this Sunday evening.
This blog is sent from Agena Sensei's church because our team was split between the two churches. We were both too busy to get together and we are the only team with internet access. Both teams had Sunday school and testimonies and Matt preached. I'm sure that we will get an update tomorrow from their team.
Agena Sensei's church is very small but very appreciative. We taught a lesson about the feeding of the 5000. We had goldfish crackers and honey balls to give out and everyone really appreciated them; they hadn't seen the multicolored goldfish that we used. They kept calling them otto (I think they have a similar cracker called otto). During church service Britt and Nicole did body worship and Britt and Janet gave their testimonies. They all did a great job. During the potluck afterward everyone commented on how moved they were by both testimonies.
Our church and the people of Okinawa are so warm and giving it is so wonderful to see the heart for God that they have. This is a small church but their members are very faithful. Both teams will be back together tomorrow and will have a more complete update on both churches with pictures.
Please pray for our teams as we enter a very busy week with more testimonies, Sunday school, cooking classes, and a couple's party which are all a part of Agena Sensei's evangelical plan to further the kingdom of Christ.
Blessings to all of you back at home and thanks for checking the blog!
